How affiliate links work
An affiliate link contains a referral identifier. If you follow it and later create an account or make an eligible purchase, the provider may attribute that action to OnlinePilots and pay a commission. This normally does not increase the price you pay.
Current relationship
OnlinePilots currently participates in the Proton affiliate programme. Relevant Proton guides identify this relationship near the start of the article and affiliate links are marked in the page source as sponsored links.
Editorial independence
Commission does not guarantee a positive review, placement or recommendation. OnlinePilots aims to explain limitations, alternatives and trade-offs, and bases recommendations on usefulness for the stated audience. Affiliate performance is not used to rewrite a factual conclusion.
Prices and product information
Software pricing, plan limits and features can change. Check the provider's official page before purchasing. OnlinePilots does not process the purchase, provide the subscription or receive your account password or payment-card details.
How links are disclosed
- An affiliate notice appears in each article containing affiliate links.
- Link attributes use
rel="sponsored nofollow". - No visitor is asked or rewarded to click an affiliate link.
- Future commercial relationships will be added to this page and disclosed where relevant.
Advertising is different
Display advertising through Google AdSense is separate from affiliate marketing. AdSense placements are labelled as advertising and do not determine the editorial conclusion of an article.
